Safety Profile

Benefect is an ingenious mixture of plant extracts that surpasses government efficacy requirements for hospital disinfectants and are also classified by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) or as Direct Food Additives.

Benefect's botanical active ingredient is classified by public health authorities as having no known adverse affects to human health or the environment.

Benefect was reviewed for toxicity by Health Canada under the following categories:
• Inhalation
• Ingestion
• Skin Irritation
• Skin Sensitization
• Eye Irritation
The product did not have any toxicity and was rated as not even requiring a Caution statement on the label (which has been a standard minimum requirement for all products by the Health Canada until now.)

The federal Bureau of Chemical Safety & the Canadian Food Inspection Agency also reviewed Benefect and supported the use of it on food contact surfaces without the normal requirement for a rinse or a wipe.

As well, Benefect contains no ammonia, chlorine, oxidizers or alcohols & even has a neutral pH, which means that it is:

​What Is Duct Fogging?

Exhaust fans, coils, drain pans, air handling & Duct systems can become sites for bacterial colonization if not properly treated. This can lead to problems associated with SBS ( sick building syndrome) or “dirty sock” odor. The best way to prevent this from occurring is to treat these areas with the proper cleaning agent applied by certified professionals.

We use a one-piece power fogging machine with a 48″ flexible hose that can omit 0-18 ounces per minute of our all natural Benefect solution that is ideal for treating large duct systems.

After we complete the duct cleaning process we leave the negative air machine connected to the duct system and fog the entire duct system starting at each branch line. We start from the furthest point away from your air handler and work the Benefect throughout the entire duct system
